Klovharun mug

Support Klovharun

Tove Jansson, a very versatile artist and the creator of the Moomin books, had her summer cottage on the tiny island of Klovharun in Pellinge for almost three decades. In 1991, she donated the cottage to the local heritage association Pellinge Hembygdsförening. In 2021, a special mug was produced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tove’s donation. By obtaining this item you can contribute to the preservation of this unique and delicate place also for future generations.

The mug was designed by the Japanese illustrator Ayako Abe. This desired collector’s treasure was produced as a limited edition in Finland by Pentik at their ceramic factory in Posio, Lapland.

Due to the high number of pre-orders and the incredible interest shown on the midsummer market 2021, the mug is now sold out. Consequently, it is no longer for sale on the Pellinge summer market nor at the Hörbergsgården museum.
